Dr. Gary Zhu is a distinguished and leading traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture practitioner, carrying a rich family legacy in holistic healing.

Coming from a renowned lineage of Chinese medicine practitioners, Dr. Zhu began his training at an early age and went on to study at the prestigious Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He would further refine his expertise under the mentorship of the late Dr. Hong GX, a world-renowned physician who entrusted Dr. Zhu with his extensive teachings and research.

Previously the Orthopedic Surgeon in charge at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital and a member of the China Association of Acupuncture, Dr. Zhu would relocate to California, where he taught orthopedics and acupressure at SAMRA University of Oriental Medicine.

Now the founder and director of Evergreen Health and Herbs, Dr. Zhu has been serving the Irvine community for over 32 years. His clinic offers a welcoming environment for patients, featuring comfortable treatment rooms and one of California's largest collections of Chinese herbs. Dr. Zhu specializes in sports medicine, respiratory and pulmonary disease, gynecology, pediatric care, and complementary Eastern medicine techniques for cancer patients to help manage the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation.
